Baby Dedication

Here are a few pictures of Logan's Baby Dedication at our church last night, Southshore Community Church in Sarasota.  Logan did a really good job last night as he didn't even cry and wasn't fussy at all.  We were probably more fussy than him because it was soooo hot up there! :)  There were a total of 5 babies that were dedicated last night.  Logan even did pretty good during the service although Janelle did have to leave with him towards the end of the service when he suddenly decided he wanted to "talk" to her.  He was going on and on...and didn't like it to much when she tried to cover his mouth with her hand!  Thank you Candace for taking the pictures for us!

This was Jared's way of calming Logan down the other afternoon.

Last night the neighbor girls next door invited Jared to go swimming with them.

We are very thankful to have some great neighbors, who not only play well with Jared, but who also take care of Logan on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.

Before and After Surgery Day

We are very thankful today is over!  For those of you who didn't know, Logan had his surgery today to remove 3 skin tags from his ears and the one on his cheek.  This surgery was scheduled a few weeks ago, but he got sick the day before...so today was the big day!  Everything went really smoothly and the people at All Childrens Hospital in St. Pete were great.  We got to the hospital at 7 and was released from the hospital around 2.  Here are some pictures from yesterday and today at the hospital.  It's amazing how different he looks to us after getting the skin tags taken off!!  I was going to just post some pics from today, but the ones from yesterday were too cute not to post! :)

Logan had to get his finger pricked so they could draw blood.  He was a trooper and didn't really even cry!

Ta-da.....the skin tags are gone!!

They brought Logan back to the waiting room and he still had to be on an IV for another 3-4 hours.  They also were monitoring his heartbeat...that's what the pink thing is on his toe.

Logan (and the rest of us) was really tired after all of this hard work.  He has practically slept the whole day.
