Getting Bigger Everyday...

So I figured I had better put some more pictures up as my parents are going to be in town and I am guessing that I will be taking a boatload of pics when they get here. We had a big week this week...I took a vacation to stay home and take care of Logan while his daycare was closed for the week. Logan got his first ear infection and it was a major one! He had a ruptured eardrum because of it on Monday and I took him to the doctor and got some medicine. It's amazing how much better all of the drugs made him feel! He's definitely feeling better now as he's not even on an kind of pain medicine. Jared came home finally on Wednesday night! We are happy to finally be the Florida Family of Four again...

Logan has started being able to sit up more on his own.

He's very happy to be more independent.

But as you can see, he has a leaning problem.

This is Logie and his blankie...or as close to one of his "security" blankets that he has right now.

I know my wife sent some of these next few pics to some people, but I wanted more people to see my wife's talent and our great model for all of the hats that she makes.

Ashlyn is always excited to see Logie. The neighbors just got back from visiting TN last week, so they haven't taken care of Logan in a while.

This area is now the neighborhood hangout. Yes, this is our garage that Janelle and I have been working on all summer. They had always hung out here, but we decided to spruce it up a bit and they LOVE it!

And yes, another messing food face. Sorry, but tonight he was eating carrots and he seemed to enjoy eating them more than putting them in his mouth and I thought these were precious.

I think he's just wondering how many more pictures I am going to take of his before I clean his face.

Here are just some random pictures. Sorry, but we haven't been taking a bunch of pictures as we've been busy working on Jared's room while he's still in MN and haven't had a lot of extra time for pictures. My parents are coming into town on Sunday and Jared will be getting home on Wednesday night, so I am sure there will be more picture opportunities!! Logan is getting so big...right now he might be starting to teethe because last night was a miserable night for him and he could not fall asleep!

This was a very proud moment for Logan (well, for Mommy and Daddy) as he got to use the big boy tub for the first time.

We love it because it holds him up and he gets to splash in the water and it doesn't get all over the mirror in our bathroom. He has now officially started sharing Jared's bathroom!

I hope Jared doesn't mind that Logan has been playing with his rubber duckies!!

This little contraption sure makes bath time more enjoyable as it was pretty hard holding him down in his little tub. For the past couple of weeks, I had to hold him down while Janelle washed him. Janelle was pouring water from a cup in front of his face the other night and Logan couldn't figure out why he couldn't grab it...it was so cute! I will work on getting a picture of that for you all.

Here are some recent pictures of Logan. Janelle took him to the doctor the other day because he was being really cranky and we were worried it was an ear infection, but she thinks it's because he's a big wimp. She said that her own child started acting cranky when he started to even get a hint of teething. So far no teeth...and he's not been quite so cranky either. He did get weighed while he was there and he weighed in at 19 lbs, 2 oz!! He's getting to be such a big boy and we still can't believe the little miracle that wakes us up each morning. Logan has been doing a pretty good job of holding himself up lately.

This is not the first time Logan has felt grass, but probably the 2nd time.

Florida grass is not the same as Indiana or Minnesota grass. It's not soft...it's mostly prickly.

But Logan enjoyed touching it and grabbing it anyways.

We sat out in the grass while my wife kept saying, "Watch out for ants...make sure there aren't any ants around." Yeah, a typical mom.
